I worked more freely on this portrait. Raphael's very sculptural head and curly hair helped alot. I left the eyes at a very early stage of modelling as they seemed to work well. However in a different light they were less convincing, maybe because I took the rest of the head a stage further in comparison. I enjoyed this study though and I worked faster which has given me more confidence.
